What is ecru?

Ecru is a command line livejournal client. Here's a list of it's main features:

• Uses your favourite $EDITOR for editing posts
• Supports non-interactive mode
• Supports having various templates with pre-defined post body, keywords, subject and so on
• Supports hooks - custom scripts that are called on certain events
• Supports several configuration profiles
• Written in C++ and tends to use as few external libraries as possible
• Designed to be easily scriptable
